20MarFacebook Chat Feature Comming Soon !

The fastest rising social network in the world, Facebook, has just confirmed its newest option to be added to the slew of services it offers. A web chat product dubbed un-originally “Facebook Chat” will be released in the weeks to come, and will be added to the bottom of all the Facebook pages.

Much like your average Instant Messenger, it will show which of the user’s friends that is online (take that, you, who accept friends on a whim, see how you like scrolling down through hundreds of online contacts!), whom he or she is chatting with and various other commands that have nothing special about them, but are required to be by default.

20MarGoogle Compared to God !

It’s easy to just pick a story whenever there’s a slow news day and write off-topic, but when the topic is as high in the clouds as this one, there’s nothing really left to do but stare at the picture for minutes without blinking and trying to make sense of all the underlying logic and implications. What else is there to say?

The banner was spotted in Los Angeles and was thought of by the Hollywood United Methodist Church, in an attempt to woo younger converts. The newest type of addiction psychologists have discovered and just acknowledged as being real is the addiction to the Internet. Spending hours and hours surfing from site to site, clicking on links after links is the newest type of coke, and it should be interesting to see a survey comparing the number of addicts to both. My money is on the Web winning by a landslide.

19MarMozilla Firefox 3.0 Beta 4 Drops Till March 27 !

The latest move on the Firefox 3.0 front came from Mozilla following the release of Internet Explorer 8 Beta 1. Firefox 3.0 Beta 4, the 12th developer milestone in the building process of the next iteration of the open source browser, was served on March 10, with Mozilla pointing out that the upcoming Beta will be delivered by the end of the month. As of March 19,Firefox 3.0 is in code freeze, and Mozilla estimates that it will deliver the bits next week, on March 27. However, the date is but an estimation at this point in time, with the possibility that Firefox 3.0 Beta 5 could slip a few days.
