There’s a new Version of Google Talk: the Labs edition, a desktop client that looks very similar to the Google Talk gadget and has most of its features. The application doesn’t support voice chat or file transfer, but it has some new features: it lets you launch Google Calendar and Orkut, while including notifications for Google Calendar events and Orkut scraps. The new Google Talk uses WebKit to render some parts of the interface.

Every new release of any software application comes with improvements in graphical user interface, security and functional properties. If you have a blog based on the WordPress platform, there are several upgrade methods available to install the latest version of WordPress software.
In case of any software upgrade process you will have to begin with the backup procedures. For your old WordPress version, it is recommended to backup the database and all files existing in the root of the installation directory.
After you download the latest version of WordPress application and deactivate all plugins, you must delete the old files and folders with the following exceptions: wp-config.php, wp-content folder, wp-images folder and languages folder.The next step is to upload the new files on the server and to run the upgrade script located in the wp-admin directory.
Google Maps Street View is a famous service which provides high-resolution photos straight from the street, allowing users to enjoy amazing panoramas from several locations in the world. Although there are only a few similar services on the market, there’s one which may represent a real alternative for Google’s service. Codenamed MapJack, the street imagery service only provides photos of San Francisco, Sausalito (United States) and Chiang Mai (Thailand), but the quality of the pictures is quite outstanding.
