According to Google System Google now has new favicon. It’s a 16×16 pixels image, a standard size for favicons. Google replaced the upper-case “G” in blue border, green and red borders with a lower-case purple “g” in a rounded corner rectangle. Google’s new favicon makes a lot of sense: the small g is a symbol for infinity (∞). A googol (10100) is just a poor approximation for the huge amount of information that needs to be indexed, organized and made useful by Google.

Yahoo and McAfee announced a partnership to make the Yahoo Search experience safer On Tuesday. Launched in beta, the new SearchScan feature, powered by McAfee SiteAdvisor technology, offers always-on alerts for sites with security concerns involving spyware, adware and other malicious software. McAfee SiteAdvisor tests and rates nearly every trafficked site on the Internet.
SearchScan also identifies sites that have shown bad e-mail practices, flooding user inboxes with spam. SearchScan is available for Yahoo Search users in the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Spain.

Many of the people who use gmail are not in a habit of using the “Archive” button in their inbox they usually delete the mails. After reading these reasons as posted on the Gmail Blog i think you will like press the “Archive” button rather than deleting your read mails.
